A good choice with confidence: Holidays with ALPS RESORTS

Flexible and safe: Holidays in an ALPS chalet or apartment in Austria

The last several months have left their mark on us: We want to be absolutely confident in our holiday decisions. Perhaps more so than ever before. And because, here at ALPS, we are acutely aware of how you feel, we are committed to doing everything it takes to guarantee you a safe, carefree timeout in Austria. So as to put a little more lightness back in our lives. We have earned it, after all. Time spent together.

What precautions have we taken for your safe holiday in the mountains?

ALPS makes distancing easy. Including contact-free check-in and your own private pool. The only thing you need to share – if you wish – is your love for holidays spent in Austria. We all understand just how valuable space is in times like these. The solution: a holiday in your own chalet, holiday home or apartment. In some of the most beautiful locations anywhere in the Alps. In the mountains, a pine forest, in a national park or on the lake. With lots of “elbowroom”, fresh air and prospects that are second to none.

Corona Measures at ALPS RESORTS
  • Contact-free check-in*. Though our customarily sincere brand of service at the reception remains.
  • Our properties and facilities make maintaining a minimum distance easier than you could possibly imagine.
  • In many of our chalets, holiday homes and apartments, you are able to enjoy your own private wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin, hot tub or pool.
  • For public wellness areas at our properties, special safety measures have been put in place. For further details, please consult the information package provided for you at check-in.
  • Please also pay attention to posted information with our safety recommendations - such as what you will find in our elevators.
  • In addition to our high ALPS hygiene standards, prior to every new arrival accommodations are cleaned with highly effective disinfectants.
  • We have adapted our cancellation guidelines. So that you can enjoy the anticipation for your upcoming Alps holiday without a care in the world.

* Insofar as you have provided us with all required travel data in advance (ref. point "How to help - registration requirement").

How to help: Your contribution to safe holidays in Austria

We will only be successful if we stick together. At a distance – you know how it goes. That’s why we’ve made a list of the things you can do personally to contribute to the “safe holidays” of you and others.

How you can help - current corona measures
  • Upon arrival, every adult and child ages 12 and older requires a negative corona test, vaccination confirmation or proof of recovery from a Covid-19 infection.
Tests accepted for admission purposes: You need to show a PCR test no older than 72 hours OR an antigen test no older than 48 hours. (For travellers from certain countries, only PCR tests are valid, please see below.) Tests need to be issued by a medical authority; self-tests are valid for 24 hours only if the result is entered into an official data processing system. Children under 12 do not need to show a test.
Vaccine certificates: The following vaccines (including mix-and-match vaccines) are recognised: BioNtech/Pfizer, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria and Covishield), Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinovac, and Sinopharm. (Please be aware that this only applies to entering the country. Sinovac/Sinopharm are not valid for entering hotels, restaurants etc. within Austria.) You are considered vaccinated: if you have received both doses of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria or Covishield), BioNtech/Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, or Sinovac; OR starting on the 22nd day after your one Johnson & Johnson dose; OR if you have had a COVID infection and have received one vaccination dose (proof of past infection required). The vaccine certificate is valid for 360 days after the 2nd dose for 2-dose vaccines. In people with a past infection + one vaccination, it is valid for 360 days after that one dose. If you have had a third/additional/booster vaccination, it is valid for 360 days from the third jab. For vaccines that require only one dose, it is valid from the 22nd day for 270 days from vaccination.
Proof of past infection: You can enter Austria for 180 days after a SARS-CoV-2 infection. Proof of neutralising antibodies is valid for 90 days from the test date.
Without one of the aforementioned confirmations, we are unable to provide accommodations.
  • As was the case prior to the pandemic, all guests staying at our properties are required to register. With the help of our online check-in, this is something you can easily take care of before you arrive. This will avoid the waits usually associated with check-in and you will be able to move into your chalet or apartment faster than ever!
  • Keeping your distance is the be-all and end-all. Please maintain a minimum distance from other groups of guests of at least 2 meters. As we have previously mentioned, at our properties this should not represent any kind of challenge at all.
  • If, during your stay here and despite our many safety measures, you feel unwell: Contact us immediately by phoning the reception and stay inside your accommodations. Our employees know exactly what to do and will provide you with all the assistance you need.
