Special information for guests from Germany

    Austria is a high-risk area from January 16, 2021

Germany has put Austria on the list of high-risk areas. What does this mean for your vacation in Austria?

    • This will not change anything for those who have been vaccinated from the age of 12 or for those who have recovered. You can spend your vacation in Austria as usual and do not have to be in quarantine after your return!
    • If you are returning to Germany, you need to register at www.einreiseanmeldung.de, where you have to upload your negative test result, vaccination or recovery certificate. The confirmation of registration must be carried with you when entering Germany.
    • Children under the age of 12 who have not been vaccinated or recovered must go to quarantine immediately after returning to Germany. This ends automatically after the fifth day after entry.
Note: The Austrian federal government is working flat out on a solution with the German authorities so that children under 12 do not have to be in quarantine.

    2-G+ on Entry

    • Teenagers can also use the new Holiday Ninja Pass to enter Austria.

    Further measures

    • Registration requirement in our resorts: As was the case before the pandemic, all guests staying at our properties are required to register. Thanks to our online check-in, this is something you can easily take care of before you arrive. This will avoid the waits usually associated with check-in, and you will be able to move into your chalet or apartment faster than ever.
    • Minimum distance of two meters: Please maintain a minimum distance from other groups of guests of at least 2 meters. Fortunately, this is not a challenge in our spacious holiday resorts.
    • FFP2 masks are required in all public areas in enclosed spaces. FFP2 masks are also compulsory outdoors, if the minimum distance of 2 m is not possible (only with people who don't live in your household).
    • If you start feeling unwell during your stay despite many safety measures: Please contact us immediately by phoning the reception and stay inside your accommodation. Our employees know exactly what to do and will provide you with all the assistance you need.

    • To enter Germany, all travelers from 12 years of age need a proof of vaccination, past infection, or negative PCR test.
    • Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the obligation to furnish proof. In their case, quarantine after a stay in a high-risk area automatically ends after the fifth day following entry into Germany.
    • Obligation to register: Even before entering Germany, you must carry out a digital registration on entry if, at any time in the ten days before your entry, you spent time in an area classified as a high-risk area or an area of variants of concern at the time of your entry.
    • Obligation to self-isolate: If you spent within the last 10 days time in an area which is classified as a high-risk area or area of variants of concern, you must make your way directly to your accommodation and remain isolated there (home quarantine). If entering Germany following a stay in a high-risk area, you will need to self-isolate for ten days; if you spent time in an area of variants of concern before entry, your self-isolation period will be 14 days.

    • People are considered vaccinated if they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 for at least 14 days.
    • People are considered recovered if they have a proof of recovery from Covid-19 infection. The underlying testing had to be carried out using a PCR test and may be at least 28 days and a maximum of six months ago. A separation notice from the health department is also permitted. Warning: If the infection was more than six months ago, a single vaccination is required.
