Part of the Ski amadé alliance, the Radstadt / Altenmarkt family ski area boasts 18 piste kilometers of its own, 8 modern cabin- and chairlifts as well as bunny lifts and tows, for ultimate fun on the slopes. From the valley station of the 8-passenger Königslehen gondola in Radstadt, you will quickly reach the top of the sled run at 1571 m above sea level. There, you will begin an amazing 6 km-long sledding adventure. As all sportsmen and -women know, good nutrition is vital. That’s why you should definitely make a detour beforehand to the Habersatter Sportalm on the summit, where you will be treated to an irresistible selection of hearty snacks. For those night owls amongst you, this sled run is also open Tuesday and Friday evenings between 6 and 9 PM. Visibility will never be an issue either, since the sled run is illuminated after dark.

Winter activities away from the piste

Big or small, you are guaranteed to have great fun on the machine-groomed natural ice rink at the sports center in Radstadt. If you didn’t happen to put your skates in your luggage, no worries, you will be able to rent a pair right there at the rink.

You can also look forward to another fun experience at the ice-stock rink. From Monday through Saturday, you can rent all the equipment you need. If this rink happens to be full, your other option is the ice-stock rink at the Gnadenalm, where they welcome groups of 4 to 50 people.

Amid enchanting landscapes, you are certain to be utterly captivated by a snowshoe hike through the pristine Pongau countryside. 20 kilometers of cleared winter hiking paths and beautiful snowshoeing routes await you. If you are inexperienced, we suggest joining a guided snowshoe hike offered every Wednesday, during which you will also be introduced to the equipment.

Hard-core bikers can look forward to the Stoneman Taurista Biketrail Saison from10 June until 26 September 2021. This ultimate bike challenge demands everything you’ve got with 123 kilometers, 4500 vertical meters and 7 checkpoints. Overcome the steep climbs, risky downhill stages and short portage passages. Awaiting you as your reward is the Stoneman Taurista Trophy in gold, silver or bronze.

Summer, sun, swimming

The outdoor pool in Radstadt, with its heated pool and paddling pool for the youngsters, promises welcome refreshment. The big sunbathing area with kiosk and a 40 m-long giant slide guarantee the kids will be as happy as clams. And conveniently, this outdoor pool is barely 10 minutes from the town center.

For those of you who prefer a more natural experience, you will have a number of swimming lakes near Radstadt to choose from.
